The Western Red Cedar that we use for our studios and offices is an exceptionally high quality cedar with very few knots. We can install it horizontally or vertically depending on your preference. Over time the exposure to sun light will transform the cedar’s colour giving it a silvery grey look. This can be avoided with the application of UV protective coatings, another service we can provide.
We can now supply Thermawood, a durable and cost effective alternative to cedar. Thermawood is heat and steam treated to change the molecular structure, making the wood fibres much more resistant to moisture. Similarly to the cedar it can be installed both vertically and horizontally.
This black cladding is made from high quality PEFC certified Scandinavian softwood. It comes with a fine sawn finish and two coats (one primer and one top coat) of factory applied black paint. We then apply a further coat on site, ensuring its quality and durability.
We offer a wide range of lighting finishes to give your garden room the ambience you want. From vintage or industrial interior lights, to chic contemporary canopy and exterior lights. If you prefer to choose your own light fittings we will install them in any position you want.
If you want your garden room to really stand out we offer a custom painted finish. The cladding can still be installed both vertically and horizontally. We also offer a free touch up on the painting in the first year to keep your building looking fresh and inspiring.
We use EPDM synthetic rubber as our standard roofing material because of its durability and versatility. However, we can supply and install a Swedish metal roofing system for the full Scandinavian look. For more information on the system you can download this PDF brochure.
